Our assortment includes a 10 l airtight pot.

Provided with a water (airtight) flange, the pot is used, among other things, for pickling cucumbers and cabbage. An additional element is a pressure stone. The ceramic pot is intended for long-term storage of food in a natural environment, without preservatives. It is ideal for pickling cucumbers and cabbage or curing meat. It is also worth getting familiarized with our recipes. The pot is praised for its high quality, functionality and aesthetic qualities.

Instructions for use:

By placing a lid onto the water-filled flange of the pot, air is prevented from penetrating inside the pot. Vegetables in the pot undergo the process of fermentation, releasing carbon dioxide which – gradually – displaces the air completely. In this way, anaerobic atmosphere is created inside the pot. Preserves maturing in these unique conditions acquire an unforgettable flavour. To keep the closure airtight, water in the flange should be topped up. Furthermore, to reduce water evaporation from the flange, you may add a few drops of food oil to the water so that it will not need replenishment so frequently.

Zakłady Ceramiczne “BOLESŁAWIEC” uses reinforced packaging that is more suitable for courier deliveries – with special Styrofoam formwork and reinforced cardboard boxes.

With no harmful substances used within the body and glazes, you can rely on the safety of our cookware when handling food.

Pressure stone

Pressure stones are used to keep vegetables below the surface of the juice in the pot.
